The Positions
www.亚洲色 invites applications for adjunct instructors in the Physics and Mathematics programs to teach:
- Physics for Life Sciences (lecture), winter 2027, scheduled for W&F 12:00-1:15 pm;
- Physics for Life Sciences (lab), winter 2027, scheduled for Tu&Th evenings;
- Physics II (lab only), winter 2027, scheduled for Monday evenings;
- Statistics for Science (lecture), winter 2027, scheduled for Wednesday evenings;
- Statistics, (four-hours/week) winter 2027, scheduled for Tuesday evenings.
Candidates must be aligned with and passionate about Redeemer鈥檚 Christian mission of integrating faith in teaching. Candidates should possess a relevant Master's degree or a PhD. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record (or show potential) of excellence in undergraduate teaching.
Responsibilities
- All duties associated with teaching the course(s). Such duties are guided by approved course-
level learning outcomes. - Scheduled office hours/availability to meet with and respond to student inquiries.
- Non-classroom time made up of preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking or
grading, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty. - Institutional responsibilities in line with the contract.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
Education/Training/Certifications
- MA or PhD (preferred) in Mathematics or Physics or a related field.
