The www.亚洲色 Natural Sciences and Mathematics Endowment, funded by numerous donors, supports students interested/enrolled in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Area. One or more scholarships up to or greater than $500 will support Redeemer students equipping themselves to serve the common good in diverse areas with knowledge and skills gained by studying science and mathematics. Eligible candidates will be ranked by the faculty of the Sciences Areas.

Two scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded each year to incoming students who have: earned high grades in four senior-level high school science or mathematics courses; intend to major in a field in the natural sciences or mathematics; have demonstrated an interest in Redeemer鈥檚 natural sciences or mathematics programs by registering in a minimum of four courses in this division in their first year of studies; and have written a short statement describing their interest in science or mathematics. The Sciences Division will rank the applicants.

Up to three bursaries valued at $1,000 may be awarded annually to full-time incoming or returning students who face or have overcome mental health challenges in their life and who demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students majoring in Applied Social Sciences, Education or Ministry. Interested students will reflect on how they have witnessed God's providence through the practical and spiritual supports He has provided while navigating this experience. (Note: Specific details of personal experiences are not required, as eligibility is not based on the magnitude or impact of those experiences.) Students will reflect on how God's faithfulness, evidenced in the past, provides hope for the future as referenced in Romans 5:3-5.

A variable number of bursaries of at least $1,500 will be awarded to returning international students who demonstrate financial need. Students must be enrolled full-time over both terms in an academic year.

This award has been established in memory of Robert van Hartingsveldt 鈥�95, known for his gifts in music and his ability to bring people together. One award of at least $1,500 will be given annually to a returning student with musical gifts and a heart for all people. Priority will be given to students demonstrating financial need. Interested students must submit with their application a statement detailing their musical experience and how they use music to create community. Preference will be given to the most deserving candidate in the area of contemporary/jazz/fusion. The Music Department will rank the applicants.

Each year, a renewable award of up to $3,000 will be awarded annually to an incoming or returning full-time student who best demonstrates the potential to become an exemplary scholar-athlete. Applicants must have an admission average of at least 75% or a CGPA of 6.0 or better. Incoming students must attend one of the Athletic Department鈥檚 Athlete Recruit Events. Candidates will be evaluated in a practice session and be interviewed by the coach and the Athletic Director. Returning students will be evaluated throughout the year by the coach and the Athletic Director (no application required)

These bursaries are awarded in loving memory of Sam Miedema and in honour of his service to persons with disabilities. Mr. Miedema cherished his son Brian and served his local Community Living Association for many years. Two bursaries, each valued at $1,000, will be awarded annually to students entering their third or fourth year of full-time studies enrolled as a major in Psychology or Applied Social Sciences. Eligible students must have financial need, good academic standing (departmental grade point average of at least 7.00) and have a demonstrated interest in, and commitment to, a career in serving persons with developmental disabilities and special needs. Interested students must submit with their application a one-page statement describing their career plans and the work they have done with persons with developmental disabilities or special needs. The appropriate Social Sciences Department will rank the applicants.

This $1,000 bursary was established to honour Sandy鈥檚 life and her love for the students of Redeemer, which she embodied every day in her work as an Internship Coordinator in the Centre for Experiential Learning and Careers. Sandy always had a heart for helping those in need; she was a strong advocate for those who suffered from injustice and inequality, and left a legacy of selfless servanthood. The bursary will be awarded annually to a returning full-time Canadian student with a passion for social justice and who demonstrates financial need. Preference will be given to a student who is majoring in Applied Social Sciences, or who has completed or will be completing an unpaid internship which centres on community equity and/or who is currently enrolled in the Social Justice Minor. Interested students must submit with their application a brief description of what inspires social justice in their own lives and how they wish to further their advocacy in the future. The Academic Standards Committee will select the candidate in consultation with the Financial Aid Department.

A variable number of awards, funded by Scotiabank, will be awarded to returning students enrolled in full-time studies at Redeemer who volunteer with organizations in the Hamilton community during the academic year. Eligible students must submit with their application a description of their volunteer work and an endorsement by the supervisor of the organization for whom they are volunteering. The Student Life Department will rank the applicants

One or more scholarships will be awarded annually to incoming or returning students who excel and are active in the music program and meet the following criteria: be involved in choral music; intend to use their future profession to promote a high level of music awareness in the Christian community, whether in the church, in a Christian academic setting, or any other comparable capacity; and give strong evidence of commitment to the Christian faith. When two equally strong candidates meet these criteria, financial need may also be considered. Applicants must provide a short statement that describes their present activity in music and the vision for future involvement in music. The Department of Music will rank the candidates and Academic Standards Committee will select the recipient(s).

A variable number of bursaries, up to $3,000 annually, will be awarded to new or returning students demonstrating financial need. Preference will be given to students who contribute to the local community through volunteer participation. Interested students must submit with their application a list of their volunteer activities.

This award was established in loving memory of Peter Spoelstra and his daughter Elizabeth (Betty) to celebrate their lifelong love and commitment to music, which they believed to be a God-honouring expression of one鈥檚 faith. One or more awards will be given annually to returning students who are Music majors and have demonstrated financial need. The recipient must have a cumulative grade point average of 9.00 or better. In addition, the student should show evidence of, or great potential for, the following: high involvement and superior achievement in music activities, along with outstanding talent and musicianship. The Music Department will rank the applicants.

One or more bursaries, each valued up to $2,000 will be awarded to an incoming student admitted as a mature student who has demonstrated financial need and academic potential.

One or more bursaries, each valued up to $2,000 will be awarded annually to a pre-seminary student who has financial need, in memory of a 鈥減ioneer鈥� pre-seminary student. Interested students must submit with their application a short statement which describes their leadership activities and interests in church ministry, missions, and/or youth work. The Religion and Theology program faculty will rank the applicants.
*Redeemer defines a Pre-Seminary student to be a student that intends to continue on to seminary studies after receiving their undergraduate degree.

One or more bursaries, each valued up to $2,000 will be awarded to who has demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to a student in the Natural Sciences & Mathematics area.

Established by the www.亚洲色 Student Senate, up to five scholarships valued at $1,000 each will be awarded to full-time incoming or returning Redeemer students who demonstrate active participation within the Redeemer community and in the greater Hamilton community. Applicants must submit with their application a list of their extracurricular activities and local volunteer participation. Applicants must not be current Student Senate members or officers. The applicants will be ranked in a blind review conducted by the Student Senate, and the Academic Standards Committee will select the recipients on the recommendation of the Financial Aid Office.

Two awards of $500, funded by Rosa Flora Growers Limited, will be awarded annually to returning full-time students, one male and one female, who best exemplify qualities of service and leadership within Redeemer activities and/or in the broader community. The recipients would be actively involved in, but not limited to, Athletics, Theatre Arts, or external outreach missions, and would show a good spirit and heart for others. Interested students must submit with their application a short essay highlighting their activities and clearly describing how they are involved. The Student Life Department will rank the applicants and the Academic Standards Committee will select the recipients.

Four scholarships valued at $1,750 each will be awarded annually to full-time returning students with a cumulative grade point average of 9.00 or better who have demonstrated that they are visionary leaders with commitment and talent. The recipients will have a holistic and transformational view about scholarship and their future career. Students must have financial need to qualify. Interested students must submit with their application a one-page statement describing their leadership activities, their view of scholarship and their career plans. The Student Life Department will rank the applicants.

Each year, two scholarships of $1,500 each will be awarded to full-time incoming students who have a good academic record and intend to major in music at Redeemer. Applicants must submit the following along with their application for admission to Redeemer: a resume of their music experience; an essay describing why they wish to study music at a Christian university; and two letters of recommendation. They will be required to do a competitive audition with the Music Department of Redeemer. The essay and the letters of recommendation must be submitted by February 28th. The Music Department will rank the candidates.

This award is funded by Jim and Annette Ray in honour of Th茅r猫se Comtois Dufresne, who led a faith filled life and was the beloved mother of Annette Dufresne Ray. One or more awards will be granted annually to a student/student(s) enrolled full-time as a major in Music, valued up to $2,000 each. The recipient(s) must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 7.00, and demonstrate financial need. Priority will be given first to students from the Hamilton region and then to students from across Canada. Preference will be given to students who intend to pursue graduate studies in Music. The Music Department will rank the applicants.
