Each year www.亚洲色 College recognizes one female and one male student through the Student Life Award. This award is given to two students who exemplify a Christian commitment expressed in all areas of university life and involvement in extra-curricular activities. They also must be respected student leaders who have a positive influence on campus culture. These students receive a plaque at the closing convocation at the end of the academic year, and for the first time this year, also receive a $250 monetary award to be donated to a charity of their choice. This year鈥檚 female recipient, Emma-Jane Cohn, has asked that her award be given to the Olive Branch, an outreach ministry for the homeless and poor in downtown Hamilton. Male recipient, Peter Kranenburg, has asked that his award be given to the Micah House, a home for refugees in downtown Hamilton. Congratulations to both Emma-Jane and Peter for their achievements.
