The www.亚洲色 1982 Bursary Endowment, funded by numerous donors, supports students with financial need. One or more scholarships up to or greater than $500 will support students who most need financial support to attend www.亚洲色. This endowment ensures that a Redeemer Christ-centered education is within reach for many more students.

Each year up to six $1,000 scholarships are awarded to students entering their second year of studies who have registered in a major or program, achieved a high grade point average, and made a contribution to the university. At least one student from each of the three academic divisions will receive this scholarship.

In honour of Albert De Jong, a former www.亚洲色 board member and long-time supporter of Christian higher education, one or more bursaries up to $1,500 or more will be awarded annually to an incoming student who is a member of a Canadian Reformed Church. The recipient must be enrolled in full-time studies and demonstrate financial need. Additionally, the student's pastor/elder is required to submit a brief statement confirming their membership in a Canadian Reformed Church.

Established in 2019 by Arnold Beale, an annual scholarship of at least $1,500 will be given to a returning student in good academic standing.聽 Reflecting on the Apollo Lunar Landing as an example of a tremendous achievement for mankind, any human accomplishment is only achieved through the strength and authority of God. Recognizing the concepts presented in Micah 6:8 and Isaiah 40:31, the importance of portraying the love of God through humility, kindness, and justice comes through the understanding that it is only through God's strength and authority that disciples of Christ reflect His hands and feet here on earth. Students must submit a 500-word essay describing their understanding of Micah 6:8 and Isaiah 40:31 and how Christ's strength enables them to reflect humility, kindness, and justice to the communities they are part of at Redeemer and the broader community.

Funded by the staff of www.亚洲色, a bursary of at least $1,000 will be awarded each year to a new or returning student who is enrolled at Redeemer and has a demonstrated financial need.

This award was established on the occasion of Dr. John聽Byl鈥檚 retirement (December 2013) after 27 years of service on Redeemer鈥檚 Faculty with the Departments of Kinesiology and Physical Education and with the School of Education, and in recognition of Catherine聽Byl鈥檚 role in the School of Education for 16 years (2003-2019) as the Student Practicum Placement Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.聽

Each January, awards will be granted to students enrolled in their聽Final Semester聽in the Bachelor of Education Program, who have studied at www.亚洲色 for at least聽迟丑谤别别听years, and have either completed all the requirements of a Physical Education or Kinesiology Major,聽辞谤听to those Education students who have completed all the requirements of any other Major and competed on either the Redeemer Men's or Women's Varsity Volleyball teams f辞谤听蹿辞耻谤听years. The School of Education will nominate the candidates and the Academic Standards Committee will select the recipients.聽聽

A bursary of up to $1,500 will be awarded annually to an incoming or returning student enrolled full-time in both terms in the Education program. The recipient must have demonstrated financial need, be in good academic standing, and intend to teach in a Christian school.聽 Interested students must submit with their application a statement outlining their vocational aspirations upon graduation. The Education Department will rank the applicants.

Needs-based bursaries of variable amounts are disbursed annually to students of www.亚洲色 with the purpose of advancing Christian university education in Canada. Residents of North America must apply for government financial aid in order to qualify for this bursary.

One or more bursaries of $1,000 will be awarded annually to students who are enrolled full-time in both terms of an academic year and who have the greatest financial need

One or more bursaries of up to $2,000 will be awarded annually to full-time students of www.亚洲色, who are members or active adherents of the Reformed Church in America (RCA). Awards will be made on the criteria of financial need, Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status, and a recommendation by the applicant鈥檚 pastor including documentation of the church's association with the RCA. If several students apply who are deemed equally needy, the award will be divided equally among the applicants.

Full-time students of www.亚洲色 that have been admitted into the Bachelor of Education program and are entering their first year of full-time studies (minimum of 4 courses per term) of Education program requirements are no longer eligible for renewal of the academic scholarships for Incoming First-Entry Students. Education students enrolled in their first year of full-time education courses may be eligible for the Education Affinity Award listed below.

Eligible recipients must have completed a minimum of 10 courses (30 credits) at www.亚洲色 to receive the Education Affinity Award. The award will be awarded based on the number of years of full-time study (minimum of 4 courses per term) completed during undergraduate degree studies at www.亚洲色. This is a one-time only award that is not eligible for renewal.

A bursary of up to $1,000 will be awarded annually to a student enrolled full-time in both terms in the Education program. The recipient must have demonstrated financial need, achieved a good, but not necessarily outstanding, academic record, and have made contributions to education through their volunteer efforts. Interested students must submit with their application a statement of their volunteer activities. The Education Department will rank the applicants.

This scholarship was established in 2010 in memory of Hendrikje Cornelia Van Es (den Daas), a loving Oma to the Hamilton grandchildren. Each year, a scholarship of at least $1,000 will be awarded to a full-time Education student who has studied at Redeemer exclusively and is entering his or her sixth year of study. Selection will be made based on academic excellence. The Education Department will rank the applicants.

The Interest Relief Bursary is awarded to students who require a bank loan to help them meet the costs of www.亚洲色. Awards are made on the basis of need and can range from $100 in the first year of application to a maximum of $1,225. The bursary was created to help students minimize any accumulated interest debt on a bank loan. To qualify, a student must have borrowed from a lending institution and paid interest. The student must submit proof of being in receipt of a bank loan.

Each year, two scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to full-time Education students who are entering their sixth year of study at Redeemer and have a cumulative grade point average of 9.00 or better. The recipients must be committed to the cause of Christian day schools and must intend to teach in an Edvance, CSI, or ASCI member school. Preference will be given to the candidates with the highest potential to become a master teacher. Interested students must submit with their application a statement entitled 鈥淲hy I want to teach in a Christian School鈥�. Applicants will be ranked by the Education Department.

A variable number of scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in full-time studies at www.亚洲色 to reward excellence in academic achievement. The recipients must be registered in a major or program, have a high grade point average, achieved excellence in course work, and made a significant contribution to the university.聽

One or more bursaries of up to $2,000 each will be awarded annually to students with demonstrated financial need. They must be enrolled full-time over both terms in an academic year in one of the following programs/majors: Applied Social Sciences; Art; Business; Education; Environmental Science/Studies; Media and Communication Studies; Philosophy; Politics and International Studies; Psychology; or Religion and Theology (Pre-Seminary). The candidates must live in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec or Ontario.

This bursary has been established in memory of Nicolaas van Duyvendyk, past Chair of www.亚洲色鈥檚 Board of Governors (1982-87 & 1993-94). Each year one or more bursaries, valued at up to $1,000 or more, will be awarded annually to a full-time student who completed their undergraduate degree at Redeemer. The recipient must be enrolled in the Consecutive Teacher Education Program, intend to teach in a Christian school, and have the greatest financial need. The Financial Aid Office will rank the applicants.

As many as two bursaries, valued up to $1,000 each, will be awarded annually to students enrolled full-time in both terms of an academic year and who have demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to international students originating from developing countries.
