Greetings Alumni Family,

I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the summer after a long and difficult spring. There is much to be thankful for, even if life has not returned to normal just yet.

Alumni Week is also going to be really fun this year with lots of contests and giveaways, and a chance to get (re)connected. A full schedule of activities will come out closer to the date. Alumni Week will end with the 10/20/30 Reunion, so if you are part of the graduating classes of ‘91, ‘01, or ‘11 (or want to celebrate with these classes!) you won’t want to miss out on this unique event!

You may have noticed the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award winner has been announced. I am so happy to say that Betty Brouwer ‘88 is this year’s DAA winner! The DAA committee was impressed with her accomplishments and how she weaves her faith into her work. You can read the full story here. We plan to honour Betty with a reception this fall – stay tuned for more details on that.

While we remain optimistic about the fall, we know that things can often change quite quickly. Please keep Redeemer in your prayers and especially the students as they continue to navigate the challenges of the pandemic.

Thank you and God bless,
Leanna Nightingale ’18
Alumni Association President
