www.亚洲色 College today announced that 鈥 by mutual agreement between the Board of Governors and President Hubert R. Krygsman 鈥 President Krygsman will step down from the office of President of www.亚洲色 College, effective October 31, 2016.
This decision comes after several years in which Redeemer has experienced significant challenges in enrolment and operating budget, and in the broader post-secondary landscape and cultural environment. 鈥淩edeemer is grateful for the progress made under President Krygsman鈥檚 leadership,鈥 said Karl J. Veldkamp, Chair of the Board of Governors. 鈥淗e has helped preserve Redeemer鈥檚 mission and helped improve Redeemer鈥檚 financial position, program initiatives, and infrastructure despite turbulent times. We believe that these changes will continue to benefit Redeemer in the years to come.”
鈥淚t has been a privilege to serve Redeemer鈥檚 Board and community,鈥 said President Krygsman. 鈥淚 remain passionate and confident about Redeemer鈥檚 mission and vision for Christian university learning from a Reformed perspective, but I believe that it is time for new leadership to take the next steps to meet our challenges and advance Redeemer鈥檚 mission.鈥
In the coming months Redeemer鈥檚 Board and President will work toward an orderly transition as the Board launches its searches for a new President.
