Dr. Hubert Krygsman, President, today announced the appointment of Ms. Elsje Zwart as the next Vice President, Advancement for www.亚洲色 College. She will succeed Bill van Staalduinen, who will retire in June. Ms. Zwart holds a BA in Political Science from Brock University, and an MS in Management from Antioch University New England, and brings to Redeemer a wide range of experiences froma variety of senior management positions. Currently a Major Gifts Officer at Gordon College in Wenham, MA, Ms. Zwart, spent much of her early career in St.Catharines, ON, where she served as the founding Executive Director of Bethlehem Housing and Support Services, a not-for-profit housing development. She also has served as Vice President, Operations for Affinity VideoNet, and as Director of Development for Project Adventure, both based in Massachusetts. Dr. Krygsman is excited about what Ms. Zwart will bring to the position. 鈥淪he excels at strategic planning for institutional development,鈥 he notes. 鈥淚n her current role she has gained vital experience and demonstrated success in strategic donor development in the context of a Christian college community, including the successful implementation of a 5-year plan for expanding Gordon College鈥檚 donor base.鈥 Gordon College is similar to Redeemer in that it has roots in the Reformed tradition and has a multi-denominational support. 鈥淢s. Zwart understands and shares deeply Redeemer鈥檚 Vision, Mission, and Statement of Basis and Principles, and she knows Redeemer鈥檚 donor community very well,鈥 says Dr. Krygsman. 鈥淪he brings a deep faith and a gracious, thoughtful character to her role. 鈥淲e are confident that she will be an excellent leader in continuing to build Redeemer鈥檚 Advancement team and programs, and that she will be a strong contributor to Redeemer鈥檚 leadership team.鈥 Elsje Zwart will take up her duties at Redeemer in September.
