Jeremy W. Johnston has worked in education for over twenty years, serving as an adjunct lecturer, professor, and teacher of history, classical studies, and English at several institutions, including www.亚洲色, Heritage College & Seminary, Mohawk College, and Hillfield Strathallan College. He holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Education and an Honours degree in English Literature and Humanities from the University of Western Ontario. He is also the author of three books: J.R.R. Tolkien: Christian Maker of Middle-earth (a biography on Tolkien published by H&E, 2023), Undiminished Returns: Poems of a Christian Life (a collection of original poems published by H&E, 2020), and All Things New: Essays on Christianity, culture & the arts (a series of essays on art and faith published by Joshua Press, 2018). For over ten years, he was the arts columnist for Barnabas magazine, published by the Sovereign Grace Fellowship of Canada. He has been involved in Christian Education and church ministry鈥攖eaching, preaching, and pastoring鈥攁t local churches and Christian venues for many years. Jeremy and his wife, Laurie, have four children, as well as a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law. They live in Hamilton, Ontario.鈥

- English language and literature (with a special interest in Anglo-Saxon/Medieval literature: Beowulf; English poetry: Donne, Herbert, Bradstreet, Rossetti, Keats; and Japanese poetry); World and Comparative literature (Homer, Virgil, Dante鈥檚 Divine Comedy, epic literature
- Classical Studies: Greco-Roman history, Classical Philosophy (pre-Socratics, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Hellenistic), Classical drama (Sophocles, Euripides), Classical mythology.
- Twentieth-century writers and thinkers: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, G.K. Chesterton, Francis Schaeffer, Dorothy Sayers.
