Dr. Laura Fitzpatrick is an educator and choral conductor based in Oakville, Ontario. Prior to her current role at Redeemer, her professional practice included roles in music ministry, choral conducting, education and arts administration. A graduate of Western University, she has served as the music director of several church and community choirs. As an educator, she has over 20 years of experience teaching grades 5-12 in the public, independent and Christian school systems. Her current research focuses on the effective integration of drama, music and visual art into classroom teaching, curriculum design, and multimodal pedagogy.
