Research Interests

  • The role of lifestyle factors in health and well-being, with a focus on activity, exercise, fitness, and nutrition in young and aging adults.
  • The effect of activities of daily living and exercise on measures of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health in older adults.
  • Enhancing physical and mental health and performance through exercise in special populations such as aging adults, athletes, military and first responders, and chronic illness.
